About Greg.
Gregory Alan Koch Jr. A loving father and a climber. I’ve been with Vertical Axis for more than two years, and I’ve been climbing towers for ten before that. Twenty years in construction before I ever went up.
A family friend got me into climbing. I went up once and that was it. This is the work for me.
What I do here.
Ten years on cell sites and WISP towers, with two decades of construction underneath that. I move fast. Guys on the crew will tell you I’m the fastest climber on site, and that’s the thing I take the most pride in.

Proud of
Streamline Internet in Hendry County, Florida. A federally-funded buildout covering essentially all of Hendry County and its sub-communities: LaBelle, Port LaBelle, Felda, Fort Denaud, Montura, and Pioneer. Communities the big carriers had written off years ago. Over a thousand unserved households finally got real internet out of that project. Best project I’ve ever been part of.
